“Who then is the faithful and sensible servant whom his master put in charge of his household to give others their food at the proper time [(emphasis added])? Well, he is fortunate if his master finds him doing that duty on his return! Believe me, he will promote him to look after all his property. But if he should be a bad servant who says to himself, ‘My master takes his time about returning’, and should begin to beat his fellow-servants and eat and drink with drunkards, that servant’s master will return suddenly and unexpectedly, and will punish him severely and send him off to share the penalty of the unfaithful—to his bitter sorrow and regret!”—Matthew 24:45-51 (J.B. Phillips New Testament)

I just wrapped up Week 16's Big Idea Food® Bible Study where we discussed why we don’t have to worry about competition as Kingdom business builders and it is sewwwww good!
Ultimately, as the scripture above shows us, when we’re serving people like we should, promotion is inevitable. And no competition can stop God from increasing your territory.
But you know what CAN stop you?
You.
You being a bad servant. Not taking care of the people God has entrusted to you like the bad servant in this scripture. You don’t have to worry about competition..but you DO have to worry about God!
Cuz He don’t play about people, period. They’re His #1 priority and treasure (He showed that by sacrificing His other greatest treasure for us, Jesus).
Building a Kingdom-first business means building a people-first business. And it’s the best way to protect yourself from having to worry about competition.
When I tell you this message is so. rich. And necessary!? Tap in and feed on this shepherd mentality that God wants all His entrepreneurs & visionaries to have. The whole message is good but if you’re short on time, start at around 37 minutes in.
