Jesus is my light.

“But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, shining ever brighter until full daylight.”

- Proverbs 4:18 (Complete Jewish Bible)

I’ve always referenced this scripture as a promise for my path getting clearer and clearer to me, but recently God directed me to it again in this translation to show me more. Not only will my path shine brighter and brighter, but there is a point where it will reach full daylight status!!  Meaning at some point, I’m going to literally be clear as day on what my path in business is! There is a day coming when I won’t be gray or in the dark about it anymore because it’s all out in the open SONlight! Praise God!

If you’ve been struggling with clarity, this scripture is for you. Let me assure you that:

  1. As a child of God through faith in His Son Jesus Christ, you’ve been made the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). And in fact, Jesus is your righteousness (1 Corinthians 1:30). So as long as Jesus is righteous, you are too. Is He ever going to become unrighteous?! Nah bruh. That means wherever it talks about “the righteous” in the Bible, you can just go ahead and stick your name in there.

  2. Because you are “righteous” you have a RIGHT to claim this truth in Proverbs 4:18 for yourself!! Believe it, speak it out loud over yourself and watch God show you the path in business that He has for you.

As you’re looking ahead to the new year, there’s no need to stay in the dark about where God is taking you. Jesus is your light. Look to Him and remind yourself of the righteousness His sacrifice paid for you to have.  It’s amazing how much clarity comes when you’re able to believe big, without the limitations of thinking you don’t deserve it. Keep your eyes on Jesus and dare to have the audacity to believe the impossible promises God’s Word says you, yes righteous you, can have.
